We are Melbourne's only father-and-son specialist orthodontic clinic, established in 1994. Our approach is to use modern orthodontic technology but combine it with a classic caring approach to dental healthcare.

Dr Linton Nash
ORTHODONTIST
Dr. Linton Nash is an orthodontic specialist who is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care while ensuring that both patients and their parents understand the challenges and processes involved in orthodontic treatment. He completed his dental degrees at Griffith University and earned his Master of Orthodontics at the National University of Singapore. Dr. Nash is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. Additionally, he has been invited to become a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. He has received recognition from his peers for his achievements, including the Australian Dental Association Outstanding Young Dentist Award.
Linton's Master's thesis focused on retention methods, which underlies his commitment to maintaining orthodontic results. He was elected as a councillor for the Victorian Branch of the Australian Dental Association (2017-2024) and was a member of the ADAVB Constitution and Policy Committee, as well as a representative on the ADAVB Recent Graduates Committee. In 2018, he completed the Leadership Victoria Health Sector Leadership Program. His involvement with the ADA, the Australian Society of Orthodontists, and the "Give a Smile" program demonstrates his dedication to both his profession and the community.
In addition to his work in private practice, Linton also serves as a Senior Orthodontist at Monash Hospital, dealing mainly with patients with cleft lips or palates. He has also participated in the Rotary Australia - Vietnam Dental Health Project for several years. When he's not improving patients' smiles, you can find him staying active by spending time with his family, cycling, swimming, and exploring the latest technology. He has also lived in Japan for a year and speaks conversational Japanese.

Dr David Nash
ORTHODONTIST
Dr David Nash is a specialist orthodontist who has dedicated his career to providing exceptional orthodontic care. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1982 and worked in General Dentistry for 14 years with Lynette, before pursuing his interest in orthodontics. He completed a Graduate Diploma of Clinical Dentistry focused on paediatric dental care and a Master of Dental Science specialising in Orthodontics in 1995.
David began his orthodontic practice in Benalla in 1995 and in Ivanhoe in 1996. He is a member of the Australian Dental Association and the Australian Society of Orthodontists, and participates in the 'Give a Smile' program.
David is truly passionate about early intervention orthodontics. He loves being able to help young patients address developmental issues early on, setting them up for a healthier future and often avoiding the need for more complex orthodontic treatments later. His years of experience have reinforced his belief in the importance of early assessments, as they can significantly reduce potential problems down the line. For David, every young smile he helps is a win!
David lived in Japan for a year and speaks conversational Japanese. When he is not providing dental care, he enjoys combining his interests in Japan and farming with his wagyu herd in North East Victoria. He has an affinity with the North East having spent much of his youth in Gough's Bay and Mt Buller. When not helping patients or grandchildren, David works on the farm (an endless task!) and is always looking to improve the genetic basis and husbandry of his wagyu herd.
Dr Lynette Chambers
DENTIST
Dr Lynette Chambers graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1982 and completed a Bachelor of Arts in 2000. After running her own general practice for 25 years, she joined David in his orthodontic practice. She brings a wealth of knowledge to her role at both the Ivanhoe and Benalla practices.

Lynette enjoys being busy and having something to do so an orthodontic practice is a great place to be. She enjoys all aspects of orthodontic treatment and is passionate about promoting good oral hygiene. She is happy to educate patients on proper cleaning techniques and encourage patients to embrace their elastics as a simple way to achieve a perfect bite without surgery.

When she's not involved with teeth, Lynette enjoys spending time with her wonderful children and her amazing grandchildren. She is grateful for her time at the farm with the cows, chickens, bees, the veggie garden and, of course, the serenity. Her interests are US politics, history Podcasts, cooking and gardening.
Aurora Shi
ORAL HEALTH THERAPIST
Aurora is our Orthodontic Oral Health Therapist. She graduated from Charles Sturt University but she studied and worked in International Relations and Law before settling into dentistry. Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, Aurora has lived in Australia for over 15 years.
She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, particularly oral health promotion and hygiene. One of her strengths is her positive approach to helping patients achieve their treatment goals.
When not at work, Aurora loves spending time with her 2 beautiful daughters and two crazy dogs. She also enjoys ice skating, cooking, and family time.

Casey joined us soon after leaving school and although a skilled dental assistant her focus is administration and it is Casey who keeps things running smoothly.

DENTAL ASSISTANT
​Debbie began her career in dental health after her family had grown and she has honed her skills and understanding of orthodontic problems and treatment in our Benalla practice. She is a competent and efficient dental assistant. Good oral hygiene is important to Debbie and patients appreciate her oral hygiene instruction and appliance management advice. Debbie has a lot of energy and never stops. but when not in a dental surgery she keeps busy feeding a menagerie that seems to keep growing, gardening and camping.

Lily is skilled in her role of chairside assisting but also effective in instructing patients about the care of their appliances.
You may also find Lily in the lab making retainers or helping at reception.
