Clear Aligners
INVISALIGN
Clear aligners involve a series of clear, removable, customised trays that gradually move your teeth to an ideal position. In the same way as braces, the aligners use gradual force to incrementally move the teeth.
Aligners must be worn for more than 20 hours each day to be effective and are changed regularly.
Most people are attracted to aligners as they provide a more discreet treatment option but they offer other advantages such as making cleaning easier, they are kinder on the soft tissues in the mouth and can prevent wear of the teeth if grinding is a problem.
Dr David Nash
Dr David Nash is a highly qualified and experienced orthodontist who has dedicated his career to providing exceptional dental care. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1982 and has worked in General Dentistry for 14 years with his wife. In addition to his Bachelor's degree, he earned a Graduate Diploma of Clinical Dentistry focused on pediatric care and a Master of Dental Science specialising in Orthodontics in 1995.
Dr David Nash's exceptional qualifications and experience allowed him to open successful orthodontic practices in Benalla in 1995 and Ivanhoe in 1996. He is a proud member of the Australian Dental Association and the Australian Society of Orthodontists and is actively involved in the 'Give a Smile' program.
Dr Nash has a particular passion for early intervention orthodontics and enjoys the opportunity to help young patients resolve developmental issues. When he is not providing dental care, Dr Nash enjoys combining his interests in Japan and farming through his Wagyu cattle. He spends his free time working on the farm and continually improving the genetic basis of his herd.
Dr Lynette Chambers
DENTIST
Dr Lynette Chambers graduated with Bachelor of Dental Science in 1982 along with David and went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts in 2000. After working in her own general practice for 25 years she joined David in his orthodontic practice. She brings a wealth of knowledge to her role at the Ivanhoe practice.
Lynette loves all aspects of orthodontic treatment and is passionate about promoting good oral hygiene and takes the time to educate patients on proper cleaning techniques.
When she's not at the surgery, Lynette enjoys spending time with her three children, and her two grand-children. She loves her time at the farm with the cows, the chickens and the bees. Podcasts are her favourite way to relax.
